While I still have a long way to go, I’m improving my familiarity with my fancy camera. I tend not to use it until I really need it, which leads to lousy photos. I’m trying to spend more time taking photos. Here are some I’ve taken around the “homestead” lately. Enjoy!

I set up a tripod in the living room to try to take close up photos of the hummingbirds that visit the feeders in our door yard. This one came out the best, although I need to work on focus . . . .

Flowers don’t move around nearly as much as wildlife, thank goodness! These are from the wild flower garden behind the veranda in the front yard.

A pod of killer whales came up Lynn Canal on Sunday, and I finally got some half way decent photos of them on the move.
