November Patreon Offerings: Hygge, Holidays, and A Seasonal Short Story

I just posted the exclusive offerings on our Patreon page, also known as “Things,” for November. They’re scheduled to go live 8:00 p.m. Alaska Standard Time.

This close to Thanksgiving, we’re steeped in the holidays. And, still excited by our recent read of Mike Wiking’s The Little Book of Hygge (see Window on the World) so that’s what we discuss on this month’s edition of A Place at the Table for our Homestead Super Patrons.

For the Homestead Patrons, I’ve posted one of my all-time favorite short stories I’ve ever written, Music to Call the Snow Down. I wrote it for the evening of Thanksgiving day, and it’s a gift to our Patreon patrons this month.

Maybe we need a little music to call the snow down to sea level? It’s forecast for later this week, but we’ll see . . . . (Photo: Mark A. Zeiger).

Anyone who becomes our Patreon patron now unlocks all the offerings to date for the level of contribution chosen. It’s a great way to get a little extra content from the homestead that goes beyond this blog. And, all contributions go toward keeping the blog running. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, as Patreon patrons, and in other ways as well!
