September Morn

By , September 6, 2016

Perhaps less titillating than the famous painting by Paul Chabas, yesterday’s sunrise over The Mountain With No Name took my breath away. Here are a few photos of what I saw.

Reflections of the Day

By , March 24, 2016

Wednesday morning, we had a red sunrise. I got pictures!

The solar panels are just waiting to soak that up! (Photo: Mark A. Zeiger).

I played around a little with catching the reflection of the mountains in one of the front windows. The double pane doubles the reflection slightly, but I still like it!

The old saying holds true: “Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.” But, that day we only got overcast and a little windy. Nothing to worry about!
