Happy Halloween! We’ve grown to love the view from our main cabin window, with the silhouette decorations my father created more than 50 years ago, set against the cherry tree in the yard, that always turns yellow by this time of year.
We expect a single trick-or-treater today, sometime in the midmorning, so she can cross the bay before the high tide in time to trick-or-treat in town.
That means we’ll have the evening to ourselves. We’ll likely have colcannon or witches brew for dinner, hopefully with pumpkin pie, and maybe watch a seasonally appropriate movie.
In the meantime, here’s a post from 2011 for you: A True Ghost Story for Halloween.
