Back in January I commented on our general lack of winter weather (see Thawed). In that essay, I speculated on the possibility that we might get a taste of it in February.
That certainly turned out to be true! While our weather can’t match the severe conditions in the Lower 48 lately, we’ve had hurricane force winds, single digit temperatures, and, most recently, a fair dumping of snow.
I have to say, though: it’s rather lovely!
