The monthly “Things” for our Patreon Patrons post on our Patreon Site at 9:00 a.m. today. On this month’s A Place At the Table we discuss knitting, which both Michelle and Aly like to do a lot. I like to wear the hats and socks they make. We all like their knitting so much, in fact, that we got a little carried away. This month’s episode is Part 1 of the discussion, which we’ll finish in a second part in March.

For the basic Patron tier, we’re offering a written essay. It’s short but weird, about how I thought I was manipulating the adults around me by not learning to tie my shoes as a child. We’d planned to post Aly’s pattern for the hat  she designed that Michelle is knitting. We’ll likely offer that next month to wrap up the theme, and give Michelle time to “prove” the pattern.
