Baranof Warm Springs Visit

Aly, Michelle and I returned to the homestead on January 7th after visiting my brother, Dave and his wife, Anke in Baranof Warm Springs (see A New Year Far from Home). Since then, I’ve been perfectly content to let the pre-scheduled essays run their course while we focused on having Aly home for a few more days. In fact, she leaves on the ferry tonight.

So, if you’ll permit me, here are a few photos from our visit for your viewing pleasure while I try to return life to normal. When I do, I’ll no doubt have much to say, tying up some loose ends, starting some new threads, and catching you up on what’s been going on lately.

We had a great time, and, as you can see, we got to see it in both rain and sun.

Dave and Anke will continue care taking there until just before the lodge’s summer season in May. You can see more of the lodge at the Baranof Wilderness Lodge official Website.
