Yesterday afternoon, we saw a rather unusual rainbow over Lynn Canal.
I’ve seen a lot of rainbows over the years, even a fog bow once (you can see photos of that if you scroll to the bottom this page in our boatbuilding section). I’ve never seen one quite like this! I assume it’s the standard rainbow arc, but just the top of one. It must be the right amount of moisture over the water, and the right angle of sunlight.
