Another Nice Evening on the Homestead

About a week ago, just after we returned to Alaska Standard Time, I stepped out into the yard about 4:00 p.m. There must have been a fantastic sunset in the west, behind our ridge, because red sunlight just touched a few peaks in the Coast Range across the water. This photo gives a fair representation of it, only without the dramatic magnification we see, or the vivid red of the light.
