The Season’s First Snow Fall

By , November 6, 2011

We got the winter’s first snowfall on Friday. We got about 7 inches here on the homestead. I’d prepared for it the previous day, covering anything that wouldn’t be improved by a layer of new fallen snow, so I was able to sit back and enjoy it.

Yesterday, when the sun came up, I got some nice photos:

Michelle’s visiting for the weekend, away from her chaperoning job in town. The rain’s supposed to start later today, so we don’t expect the snow to last too much longer. It’s awfully pretty, though.
