Meeting the “Neighbors” at Home

Over the weekend, Aly and I had an opportunity to meet our nearest neighbors at home: a boat we traveled on took us close to the area around Gran Point, across Lynn Canal from our home, the site of a local sea lion haul out.

We see sea lions off our beach constantly, but getting across to the haul out is a rare treat (see Our Rowdy Neighbors, the Sea Lions). Of course, we took lots of photos. Here are a few:
