Back To Quarantine

By , June 4, 2016

I apologize for breaking the posting schedule. However, I continue to battle this crud, and there’s nothing at all worth writing about in that. I feel like all I’m doing is sleeping, drinking broth, and sleeping some more.

I did manage to rally enough to haul my sorry self to town for the First Friday book signing. I took along a bottle of hand sanitizer, and swabbed down before shaking anyone’s hand. We had a great time, but on the way home I hauled a light pack, somewhere around 30 pounds, and it just about did me in. So now, with my calendar cleared, I’m going back to sleeping, blowing my nose, and moaning.

Again, not at all exciting. Hopefully, I’ll get back to offering decent content in the days to come. Stay tuned!

Sorry to hear about your battle with “the crud”!
It is the price we pay when interacting with the “outside world” while under a degree of stress. You have been in the mix over the last few weeks and now it is pay-back.
Get well my friend and enjoy a bit of “quietude”!!
    All the best,
    Rock ON!

“Quietude.” See, now, that’s why we’re friends, we speak the same language! If I haven’t already, I need to use that word as a post title sometime.

You’re right, this is the price for what I’ve been doing. But, even if it gets worse, it’ll all have been worth it!

Come to think of it, maybe during this downtime I’ll actually get around to answering your last email! I’ve been a poor correspondent, I’m afraid.
